Twitter eyes East Coast

HQ in Kendall Square

Twitter is reportedly on the hunt for office space in Cambridge's Kendall Square for its East Coast headquarters. Sources say the company, which recently acquired local companies Crashlytics and Bluefin Labs, is reportedly looking for around 30,000 square feet of space, which would house about 160 employees.

BankFive of Fall River has hired Daniel LeBrun as mortgage originator and Harold Rose as a vice president and commercial lender. LeBrun was elected to three terms on the Taunton Planning Board, while Rose has more than 40 years of banking experience.

Georgetown Bank has promoted Philip J. Bryan to the position of executive vice president and chief operations officer. Most recently, Bryan served as senior vice president and chief lending officer at the bank.

Global Partners LP has announced the retirement of Thomas J. Hollister as chief financial officer, chief operating officer and director, effective June 30. Treasurer Daphne H. Foster has been promoted to CFO, while Mark Romaine, Global's senior vice president of light oil supply and distribution, has been promoted to chief operating officer.
